It Isn't You, It's Me! Dealing With Rejection

Uh oh, you've received a rejection email or call from the modelling agency or, worse still, you've heard absolutely nothing after sending in your application. What do you do!? Do you cry into your cereal? Of course not, you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep on going.

Rejection is just part and parcel of the modelling process. They key is to never take it personally and never take it as a message that you aren't good enough or that you aren't pretty enough, tall enough, curvy enough - you are you and you are enough!

Fashion trends change and sometimes what an agency is looking for might not quite fit with your look and that isn't a criticism of you, it's just an arbitrary thing. Things may well change so keep on keeping on because you never know when you might get that "yes"!
